french kitchen..coming soon...

work! work! work!...lucky I LOVE my job otherwise the stress could get to me...this is one of my projects I am working on. This Home is all French Country and I cannot wait to see it finished...in the meantime...

This is the Kitchen...(well the space anyway) butlers pantry thought the right door and laundry

to the left....

the stair feature...( I had to work hard to get this feature, the builder had a very different idea...I am wrapped I won..and so are my clients...he! he!)

hidden under all the pink sheets is a beautiful bathroom cabinet French/Hampton's inspired...all the bench tops and mirrors have arrived on site and the tiler starts today...yeah!!!

and it looks like we finally have some sunshine for the weekend - time to get the kids outside and enjoy it..oxo Cate

I never thought I would ever blog about power points but I have to share this clever ideas from HPM. I would normally just paint over the coverplate when I paint a feature wall but HPM have gone one better and designed the Linea range of rainbow-hued switches and power points.

time for a tour....

time to trade your Manolo Blahniks for Gumboots...please be careful walking the plank ...

this will be the Main staircase taking you from the basement up into the Living areas (level 1) and then to the Bedrooms ( level 2)

this staircase is for the tradesman aka husband, kids, dirt, surfboards, dirt and a like...

~ this way...

and here we have the 'secret staircase' which once finish will be hidden behind a secret panel in Mr LSH's Study. This will lead down to the 'man room' of a wine cellar, gym and grub room.

There has been 250 tons of concrete and 100 tons of steel to get our dream this far and yes I am Loving every minute of it. The Kids were skateboarding in the basement on Sunday while I daydreamed over the interiors and my Husband hosed...He loves hosing and was quite pleased with himself about being able to clean/hose for the first time...

well the plan was to do my Friday post about my concrete stairs being installed in my new house but I think that can wait until Monday now..... dustjacket attic totally destracted me with the most gorgeous post on Eric Bana... OH and a model..Gisele Bundchen.he! he! she's GORGEOUS TOO!

Can you believe its still raining...the funny thing about Queensland rain is that it doesn't get cold so even though it is pouring outside you really don't need to rug up...
